So you like what you see... you want to join us?

Well its simple, Just come along to our next round of auditions held at the Woodlands Centre in Woodlands Rd Gillingham to be part of our next show.

Alternativly if you cant wait that long then give us a call on 07791359939 and speak to Richard about getting yourslef on the waiting list to join up quicker.

Firstly WELCOME to Stage Theatre Society! - we know you'll love it here.

Let me take a chance to introduce myself (yeah I know self hearted and all that) My name is Daniel....

Me and my colleague Richard started STS way back now in April 2002 - on April fools day would you believe.

We are a completely voluntary youth theatre society based in the Medway towns, that is committed to one thing...... FUN!

We are a Non-Profit society so production fees are kept down as no one makes money.

Over the course of the 4 years that we have been open, we have put on many amazing shows. (well most of them amazing, some of them we just don't talk about) Hell we've tried our hands at everything Cabarets, Musicals, Plays and bits of both all rolled into one big show!

But hey stop wait a minute! - it's not only shows we do, Stage Theatre Society is a way of life! - we also have some amazing rocking parties, go on regular subsidised outings to places such as west end musicals, chessington world of adventures and any other fun activities that we can get organised. We have done street theatre, we have even taught large numbers of people stage technical skills.

'Footloose 2009'

The society can even lay claim to helping students with courses at schools by giving them experience operating our sound or lighting at our shows - in real theatres!.

Over the years we have bought large numbers of Medway's Youth community together to a place where they are able to show off their talents to everyone else, and make some truly amazing friends along the way!

The same goes for us who run the society, I don't think there has ever been a time when I have walked down Chatham High street and not seen someone who has been involved with our society at some point.

B.I.O.L 2006

Over the last few months we have been able to push the society even further forward with the helping hands of our BRILLIANT, AMAZING, WONDERFUL new parent committee (and no I am not blowing a trumpet, they really are the best!)

Not to mention our successful bid for a National Lottery grant last year, enabling us to buy more and more equipment to push our society forward even more than it is now! - Thank you to the National Lottery!

So as you can probably see, we are a society that are always striving to be the best, and so far we have been successful in that feat!
